Lake Okeechobee November Fishing Report

Posted by tom on November 24, 2022

As I am doing this report, the lake is high and will probably remain high all winter. Current water level is 16.36. Fishing has been good with a lot of numbers. Mostly bucks that have come in before the females. We are catching a few good ones and I expect a good wave of females any day. Live bait and artificial bite both have been good. With the high water it has opened up a lot of new places to fish. Looks like a good winter ahead. I have a few dates open throughout this winter season. Call and book your trip on the Big O...don't miss out!

June 2020 - What A Year So Far!

Posted by tom on June 16, 2020

I wanted to take a few minutes to recap our year so far here on Lake Okeechobee. After the early months of catching big bass and good numbers we were introduced to COVID-19. Everything stopped. I sincerely hope all of my customers (past, present and yet to book) and your families have managed to stay safe. To all of you who had to cancel this spring, we certainly understand. The fishing has really been good all during the "stay-at-home"" lockdown. During this time of social distancing and avoiding crowds there has been no safer place than being out on the lake, in the fresh air and sunshine, and best of all catching fish.

As you start to think about getting back out with the family and feel safe doing so, I hope you will consider coming back to fish with me on Lake Okeechobee. We are finally seeing an increase in bookings and like I have already said, the fish are biting extremely well for mid-June.

We have missed you guys and hope you stay safe in the coming months. God bless you all and God bless America...see you all soon!

Mid-June Fishing on Lake Okeechobee

Posted by tom on June 20, 2019

Mid-June fishing report on Lake Okeechobee. The good news is we are finally getting some water back in the lake. You can get to the grass about anywhere now without having to idle a 1/4 mile in and out. The morning bite continues to be good with top water, burner worms and my favorite, the black senko. Everything seems to be on the outside grass edge. I still cannot make the off shore bite work well but it should be on fire right now. There is also a pretty good bite in the rim ditch in a few spots. A black senko is working best there also.
