Lake Okeechobee water level has risen to 14.42, a 2 foot rise in the last week and a half. I have been coming here for 30 years and this is the best I have ever seen the lake. Fishing is as good as it gets right now. Lots of numbers with some big ones. Big fish are coming in off the main lake summer holding laces and coming to the grass. This winter might be the best ever on Lake Okeechobee. The topwater bite is awesome in the morning with walking baits, frogs and soft swimbaits all working good. After the sun gets up worms and swim senko's are working good. Make your reservations early...we are going to be busy.
